Each month of 2021 we are going to focus on a different attribute of God. Knowing God better should change our relationship with Him, the way we view ourselves, and the way we live. ================

JANUARY DEVOTION:
One of my favorite characteristics of God is that He is fully present everywhere. The bible states:
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. (Psalm 139:7-8)
“Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away? Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 23:23-24)
Even the biblical name for Jesus is Immanuel which means “God with us.” …“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us)” (Matthew 1:23)
God is fully present everywhere! In every single room you are in today, and every outdoor space you walk through today, God is there! And He is 100% there!
Knowing God is fully present everywhere should change the way you interact with God, view yourself, and how you make plans in 2021.
It should also remind you that we do not have the characteristic of being fully present everywhere! Say that again, s l o w l y…(maybe even a few times!)
